Biden Says LNG Deal Puts U.S., EU on `Stronger Footing'

President Joe Biden speaks at a briefing in Brussels after the U.S. and European Union agreed to try and boost the supply of liquefied natural gas to European countries by the end of 2022 with at least 15 billion cubic meters. "I know that eliminating Russian gas will have costs for Europe. But it's not only the right thing to do; from a moral standpoint it's going to put us on a much stronger strategic footing," Biden said.
