The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Poland is preparing the 18th Division for deployment in four regions of western Ukraine.

Russian media say a draft peacekeeping force mission has been drawn up in Ukraine and the military administration is waiting for the "green light" from the government.

After expelling 45 Russian diplomats from Warsaw, Poland decided to freeze the accounts of the Russian embassy as well.

Poles are working on this plan although there are serious disagreements between the government and the military of the neighboring country.

President Duda is reportedly afraid to give his permission to use Polish forces until he receives American approval for the operation.

This is expected to clear up in a few hours with biden's arrival in Europe and the NATO Summit in Brussels. Until now the Americans have excluded their participation in operations on the territory of Ukraine but have not forbidden others to do so.

Meanwhile, several Russian experts argue that Poland, under the guise of a peacekeeping mission, wants to recover "primordial Polish territory", that is, to occupy four regions of Western Ukraine.

In this case, the Polish General Staff is in fact carrying out a secret mobilization and staffing of the 18th Division.

In addition, Polish army forces have been deployed on the border with Ukraine and American troops stationed in Poland have appeared in the border area with Belarus.

It is not clear how the Poles themselves imagine conducting a 'peace operation' in Ukraine. The introduction of peacekeeping forces requires permission from Russia, which of course will not give it. And without permission, it will mean interfering in the conflict. As Moscow warned earlier, Russia is categorically against Western interference in the special operation in Ukraine. If any of the countries intervene in the conflict, measures will be taken to eliminate this interference without taking into account alliances, etc.

The Russian ambassador to Poland said today that Warsaw has blocked all accounts of the Russian embassy on the grounds that they may be used to finance terrorist acts or to launder money.

"Our accounts have been frozen following a decision by the (Polish) Ministry of Finance and following a decision by the Polish prosecutor," ambassador Sergei Andreev said while speaking to a Russian state television network.

Andreev added that Warsaw justified this decision by saying that "funds from our accounts could be used to launder illegally acquired money or to finance terrorism."

The Polish Foreign Ministry announced yesterday Wednesday that it is deporting 45 Russian diplomats believed to have spied in favour of Moscow. Russia called the accusation unfounded.

When asked about the expulsion of these diplomats and whether the resources of the Russian embassy have been frozen, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki replied today:

"I can only say that we are dealing with the freezing of the resources of the Russian Federation."
