Will The Church Be Raptured Before The Tribulation?

The popular teaching of a secret rapture that will rescue Christians from the great tribulation is actually a rather new teaching and not what the early church fathers believed. It was started in the 1800's and was popularized by Darby among others. The early church fathers fully expected the church to face the Antichrist. The secret rapture teaching, if untrue, will leave the church completely unprepared to face the Antichrist and the tribulation period and could lead to the falling away prophesized in the bible.
