World leaders pose for "family photo" in Brussels

Western nations and G7 world leaders gathered for various "family photos" in Brussels, Belgium on Wednesday during an unprecedented one-day trio of NATO, G7 and EU summits on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Leaders mingled and posed on the sidelines of the summitry where the transatlantic defence alliance members will agree to ramp up military forces on Europe's eastern flank.

As the conflict hits the one-month mark, the 30 nations of NATO will also agree to send Kyiv equipment to defend against biological, chemical and nuclear attacks. The resolve to punish Moscow with massive sanctions will be underlined by an emergency meeting of the G7 advanced economies.
