Hellsong

For obvious reasons I will keep names out of this post, and have kept names out of the song. It is written in response to this week's media announcement confirming what many people have thought for several years now.

I grew up with my parents dragging me to several of the emerging Pentecostal churches in Australia which spawned the monster that is Hillsong. I know first hand the lies and deception that sit at the center of these movements.

I have a great respect for orthodox religions and the moral structure that many of them have brought to humanity over the past 3000 years. However, in this age, they have spawned cults of personality and emotion that prey on the gullible and the needy.
