Scofield's dispensationalism, Christ's great Sermon on the Mount is intended for and exclusively applicable to His called-out New Testament saints -- and is one of the most important passages in all of scripture, where the Lord Jesus lays down His law for godly Christian living, setting forth in "the beatitudes" of Matthew 5:1-15 what should be seen as identifying marks of true conversion to Christ - or true salvation
