Evidence of Revision 2, Motives for Murder, LBJ and Vietnam

This is the second of a six-part series looking at events in the US in the 60s and 70s. The title Evidence of Revision is an indication of the way the narratives were being changed as they unfolded. This episode first looks at the aftermath of the Kennedy assassination, and who gained from it, before tracing the many groups and people who may have had a motive for having the President killed.

The film differs in its second half by quoting extensively from old documentaries that have were made around the time of the initial investigations into the assassination, in which various theories were brought forward about who might have been responsible.

It traces the shady history of the incoming President, Lyndon B Johnson, and examines his political shenanigans and underworld connections. According to one of the theories given here he may have been involved in the murder of at least six other people, besides the President.

Many others had reason to have Kennedy removed, including the CIA, FBI, anti-Castro groups, anti-communist groups, big business and the mafia. The film presents no conclusive evidence, but certainly more than is commonly available in the history books.
