A well regulated Militia

A well regulated Militia refers to “the Militia of the several states.” Each state’s Constitutional Militia must be fully independent; and thus, remain unfunded and unorganized by special interests. Ideally, the Governor of each state should be the militia’s respective commander unless the Governor’s political interests conflict with the values of a free state.
