God's Call To Judah For Repentance & Restoration Is. 52:1-7
• Is 52:1-3 This invitation to sinners given by Jesus Christ is gracious and encouraging. God had before commanded his people to take hold of His strength and to make peace with him. Here the Lord is showing what that strength is, and how it is to be received. For what is the strength of Zion, but the salvation of Jesus; and what is the beautiful garments of Jerusalem, but his robe of righteousness? And who else can put it upon the believer than God the Holy Spirit? Oh! how precious is it to see Jesus in everything! And when the Church of Jesus is thus clothed, thus adorned, as a bride for her husband, how perfectly free is she from all captivity, and all uncleanness. Note clearly that no amount of money can purchase this salvation and redemption. Glory be to God!

• Is 52:4-5 The children of Israel were dependent on Egypt’s hospitality; but the Egyptians betrayed that trust. At the time of their oppression in Egypt, Israel was without sin nor did they wrong either Egypt or Assyria. God’s justice demands that those who make Israel wail will be punished and that Israel will be delivered. In the same vein, when we give ourselves to the demands of righteousness, we are far from oppression and terror. They simply fade away the same way they come.

• Is. 52:6-7 Isaiah prophesies that God's people shall experience His power and goodness in fighting for them when He redeems them. This work was accomplished by the return of the Jews from Babylon, and perfected by the coming of the Messiah. God also says that the feet of those who bring good news are "beautiful." It is a wonderful privilege to be able to share God's Good News with others, his news of redemption, salvation, and peace. To whom do you need to give the Good News?

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the boldness and power to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with unsaved members of my sphere of influence - families and friends.
Romans 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

With long life will God satisfy me, and shew me His salvation.
So shall it be for me and my household today and forever, Amen and Amen!
