Masks get damp and concentrate viral load near the mouth

Masks prevent sufficient oxygen intake

Masks encourage more face touching

Surgeons wear masks to prevent bacteria in mucus and saliva from dripping into open wounds

They don't wear masks to block airborne viruses - masks can't do that

People working with dangerous viruses wear a full head-to-toe protective suit with its own air supply
