Forgiving One Another | Forgiveness In The Bible

Forgiving other people has nothing to do with your salvation. But if you are already saved and you are not forgiving someone who has repented to you, God will not forgive you of your sins and you will be punished in this life for your sins because of your reluctancy to forgive your brethren.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
