Going curly was a natural progression in my journey in reducing toxins. When I wore my hair straight, it required more chemicals to fight my frizzy hair tendencies.

Then I decided, “why fight my curls?!” It is important that I used only products that are healthy and natural. So that means that I use aloe gel and Argan oil. NO serums, silicone, or smoothing products, because they can be toxic.

It took a few months for my hair to gain more or it’s curly tendencies. I have seen my hair go from waves to curls and even some ringlets.

My hair often has frizzies and a straight portion, and I DO work with those patches….maybe even a little curling iron. Yet I won’t go back to those overly fragranced, silicone-containing products. I don’t want those toxins touching my scalp, and getting so close to my brain.

Toxin-free for me!
