The Future is Now

An interesting juxtaposition of Jethro Tull with Jim Croce and just like that today's Segue City Special is cast in bytes and out ready to play. Life can really be a long song. The question is how it will end. Will it just fade out with you still trying to sing? Will it end "cool" with you slipping away quietly in the night? Or will end "cold" and you go out with a bang? We've been sitting around drinking coffee and munching on doughnuts the Mayor dropped off this morning and we don't know the answer either... We prefer cool over cold ourselves, but we still want to keep singing a while longer...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...

At least that’s the idea… your mileage may vary, check with your dealer; so, you don’t forget order before midnight; operators standing by for your important call; Our talent is on loan from God. We just pray He'll let us finish another segue for tomorrow... Member FDIC.. Licensed drivers only. This offer is void where prohibited by law and that normally means it's legal everywhere but in New Mexico... is that gun really loaded or not and where is Alec? As a New Mexican, the faster you drive through a red light, the smaller the chance you have of getting hit.

This feature is a four-time winner of the Thomas J. Duke Memorial Music Segue and BBQ Cook-Off Award. Yes, we just won again.
