Scratch - The Underestimated Game Engine by Henry Emphrey

In this video, we're going to look at Scratch. Scratch is an engine made for making games, presentations, animations, and a variety of things on desktop and the internet. Scratch, with its visual programming interface was made beginner-friendly and was made to make programming more accessible to beginners. Yet, people underestimate Scratch due to its light-hearted approach. Because of the colors and shapes that Scratch uses, many people brush Scratch off as a programming approach to be taken lightly. Thus, in this video, we're going to look at Scratch more seriously. We're going to look at some of the most fascinating things that were made in Scratch and things that demonstrate some of Scratch's capabilities to curve some of the criticism that Scratch is an engine and program to be underestimated.
