The Tender Bar (Extended Movie Review) Episode 3

The first 40 minutes of this movie are bouncy, fun, saucy and intriguing -- and then it takes a train ride to, um, a baffling and enigmatic nowhere. Truly unfortunate, because the director, Clooney, had a gem in the making with the young Daniel Ranieri and the exquisite character of Charlie (Ben Affleck). Instead it turns into a vanity project with excruciating and endless voice-overs. Still, terrific acting, and oft-times quite good directing.
