Michael Baker: "Masks Are The Key Protection From Aerosols" Is That What You See?

So we went from "People shouldn't bother with masks" to "Masks are our key protection from aerosols." But as you can see, they clearly don't stop aerosols, and the virus infects you via your eyes anyway. So tell me again, why have people been wearing these masks for nearly two years now?
