HP Reverb G2, Wings Over Flanders Fields UE, and VorpX - Configuration and Testing

This video covers my experience with the HP Reverb G2 VR headset playing the World War I flight sim: Wings Over Flanders Fields - Ultimate Edition (WOFF - EU).

Since WOFF doesn't support VR natively, I had to install another program called VorpX which is a Virtual Reality 3D driver:
https://www.vorpx.com/

VorpX hooks into a video game and renders the game screen onto a Steam VR compatible headset like the G2.

The other thing essential for flight simulators is head tracking.
Again, WOFF doesn't support VR, but it *does* support Track IR head tracking:
https://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/

VorpX can simulate Track IR head movements, so you can move your head around with the G2 while playing WOFF and see in any direction.

I used to use Track IR, but when the HP Reverb G2 came out I switched because it delivers a vastly superior experience.

I was able to run WOFF - UE at maxed out graphics settings and 90 fps in the G2 with my computer (see below for specs).

I show how to get all that working and display some through the headset video of flying along with the G2 frame rates at the end.

I have a custom built (by me) PC powered by:
1) ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X CODE Motherboard
2) Intel Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core LGA 1151 Processor
3) EVGA NVIDIA 2080 Super Hybrid XC graphics card

I show how I overclocked my graphics card in this video:

I normally use a ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 27" Monitor to play games on my PC, but some games like driving games and flight/space simulators are much better if you can move your head around and see in different directions. It provides much more immersion.
