Air Tractor AT802F Fire Boss at Big L Fire 3

These SEAT planes AT-802F with water pontoons, are skimming the lake to get a load of water to dump on the Big L fire in Erath County Texas. Six planes were operating. Started about 3pm. The were running continuous loops and we saw them about every 10 to 15 minutes until dark. First batch of 3 planes did about 10 loops, Then second batch of 3 joined for 2 loops and first batch drop off for while.

This area of the lake has a hill on the behind us to block cross winds so there were flying into the wind. They were touching down on a backwater area of the lake way off the channel scooping up the water and taking off just in front of the docks.
