By request: When does a private school become a state actor?

Only the government is bound by the bill of rights. But who is part of the government?

Today's case deals with such a question. A private school fired a teacher. However, the school was being almost entirely funded by state money, and the government was also involved in the administration. Was this sufficent entanglement to make the school state action, and require the dismissal of the teacher to be done with due process?
