After the decision in Roe v Wade, there was a great deal of critique of the decision from conservatives both on legal and moral grounds. Casey was a chance for the Supreme Court to revisit Roe. With a conservative majority on the court, there was expectation that Roe would be overruled. Instead, while Casey substantially modified the legal analysis, the right was ultimately sustained. In this case, we learn how the right to abortion was modified, and how it is understood today. Let's discuss!
