Credit Instagram's @news.rebel with footage from @LincolnMJay. It seems the latter set up a camera and intended to ask some pointed questions at a political campaign launch, probably Patrick Browne's bid for the Conservative Party of Canada's leadership, which has been vacated by the recent defenestration of Erin O'Toole (thank heavens).

The double-masked tool intervenes because Jay isn't "credentialed media" and attempts to evict him. Apparently the tool didn't think too far ahead, because as you can hear the cameraman intone, "you're giving him better content right now!" which even the tool has to admit is kinda correct.

Canada in all its glory. You can't make this up. The walking joke seems not to be self-aware, although maybe he will run across this write-up soon.

The "credentialed media" trope is a standard justification given by the powerful to the upstart non-legacy media class, such as Rebel News [0]. It might work when it is used by Trudeau because he could make it stick for a time, although he was beaten back in court see [1]. That had to sting, didn't it.
