★★★ 120 tons of humanitarian aid from the Tula region delivered to residents of the Kharkov region

A consignment of humanitarian cargo with a total volume of over 120 tons was delivered through the border checkpoint in the Belgorod Region.

The cargo includes food, bottled drinking water, medicines, as well as clothing and bedding.

The security of the humanitarian convoy was provided by Russian servicemen.

The entire humanitarian cargo was handed over to the residents of the settlements of the Kharkiv region - women, children, as well as the elderly.

An interdepartmental coordination headquarters for humanitarian response has been set up in the Russian Ministry of Defense on the basis of the National Center for Defense Control of the Russian Federation, which has started working around the clock. This headquarters includes authorized representatives of all federal executive bodies, state corporations and organizations, as well as constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The main tasks of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters are:
providing comprehensive humanitarian assistance to the population of Ukraine in the controlled areas, as well as the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics;
ensuring the safe evacuation of the civilian population, civilians of Ukraine and foreign citizens.
