Ford F-150 Lightning all-electric pickup truck.
The new Lightning pickup has 573 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque, with incredible acceleration power. Ford reports the EV truck can hit 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 110 mph. The President of the United States was impressed with the truck's lightning-fast speed.
The Ford Lightning engine is a 5.4-liter Triton V8 similar to those found in the F-150 and Ford Expedition of the same vintage. However, unlike the standard 5.4 V8, the Lightning-specific engines have forged steel internals.
