Alan Watts and Martin Luther King Jr. on Nuclear War

This video features segments from lectures by Alan Watts (1915 – 1973) as well as speeches and sermons of Martin Luther King Jr (1929 – 1968). They reflect on how humans have arrived at a point where we threaten each other will collective annihilation, what that would look like, and offer suggestions on preventing a nuclear holocaust. It’s amazing to me that these men died fifty years ago, but nothing’s changed.

I actually put this video together almost two years ago. I ran into one small editing issue and then put the project down. In light of current events, I figured it was a good time to complete it.
