The ink I use is sumi ink or india ink that dries waterproof. After my fluid intuitive ink work has dried I begin with the watercolor application. Places like Venice and historical architecture like Piazza San Marco are excellent for my style of intuitive drawing with ink. If you are looking for detailed architectural realistic art, where every item looks exactly like the real thing, you are surely in the wrong place.
