President Joe Biden has promised to nominate the first black woman to the Supreme Court during his time in office. However, as a U.S. senator during George W. Bush’s presidency, he filibustered a black woman nominee twice to block her from the Supreme Court. But of course, she’s not the only conservative black person to get attacked by those who consider themselves progressive. Larry Elder was called “the black face of white supremacy” while running for governor of California.
