Christian Cowsill began playing music at the age of 12 and spent most of his high school years in various basements going half-deaf trying to play AC-DC tunes. In the late ‘90’s, he decided to take it a bit more seriously and enrolled in the Mohawk College Applied Music Program, where he majored in jazz guitar performance and graduated with honours in 2000. After finishing school, he played all over Southern Ontario both in his own groups and as a sideman, doing everything from jazz to early proto-metal to original music. He also toured most of the world as an entertainer in the cruise industry during this period, as a member of showbands, then fronting his own jazz trios and finally doing a solo acoustic singer-songwriter act.

In 2016, Christian released his first solo album, “Half The Story”. After taking a brief intermission from his musical endeavors to study technology, Christian is back and is currently involved in a full band project and also a solo act where he plays renditions of popular music from the 1920’s to the present as well as original material.
