The Batman - Masterful Takeoff, Crash Landing

Matt Reeves stand alone Batman film has finally been released after many years in production hell. This movie promises a slow paced Batman movie, finally showing an on screen portrayal of Batman the detective. While the film is a masterclass in how to craft a thoughtful and impactful opening, unfortunately the entire project begins to fall on its face in the third act, trying to do everything, and in turn doing nothing correctly.
