God is good all the time 469: Asking and Receiving from God

Well it has to be said that many who are out there involved with name it claim it or prosperity types of ministries are definitely wrongly teaching this to the people that follow. On one hand they say empty yourself of everything so that God can mold you and use you and then on the next hand anything you ask of the Lord you WILL receive...and if you don't receive it then you are lacking faith or you are lacking belief or you are not yet ready to receive what you have asked for, whether it is a financial blessing or healing or anything. This is the biggest turn around there is because they are calling for you to bend GOD to YOUR WILL. They say that no matter what you ask for you will get it. Sorry to burst your bubbles folks but that is the almost the biggest of the lies that people try to tell others. There are some things that need to be met before they are given so join me as I look at this idea of asking and receiving.
