The country's second-largest Lalon Gold Festival and Fair have started at Khalekh Sai's Akhra Bari in Lohagachhia village of Sreepur Upazila of Gazipur district. The formality of the fair started on Monday morning with a colourful procession. The fair will continue till Wednesday. It is learned that Lalon researcher and devotee Fakir Khaleq Sai of Sadhur Bazar has been organizing this fair for the last 10 years. He claimed that it was the second-largest Lalon Gold Festival and Fair in the country. The fair was attended by local MPs, senior officials of the administration and leaders of various political and social organizations. Thousands of locals and foreigners came to the fair. Desh Barenya Lalon and Baul music artists will perform in the three-day fair. Day and night, the fairgrounds are filled with captivating music.
