Children under the age of five still can't be vaccinated against COVID-19, leaving them vulnerable to the coronavirus. Now, a new study suggests one in four symptomatic kids ends up developing "long COVID."

The large scale pre-print study looked at more than 80,000 children with COVID-19. It found while cardiorespiratory post-COVID symptoms were rarer, one in four kids who had the virus developed some form of the concerning long-term condition.

Global’s Jamie Mauracher reports on what some of them are enduring.
