It's not every day you get front row tickets to a bald eagle rescue!

Last week, Deputy Mike Zilke responded to Shady Lane Rd in the Town of Fredonia for an injured eagle along the roadway. Dispatch called the Pine View Wildlife Rehabilitation Center who met Dep. Zilke at the scene and transported the bird to their facility to receive care. We hear our new feathered friend is making a great recovery!
