Canada launching new program for people fleeing war in Ukraine

As the number of Ukrainians fleeing to Canada is expected to skyrocket, the country is bracing for thousands more refugees trying to enter.

About 3 million people have already fled the conflict in Ukraine since the start of the conflict on Feb. 24, with neighbouring countries in eastern Europe opening their doors to welcome the displaced civilians. Now a number of them are also heading to Canada.
