I'm Peter Serefine and this is the Liberty Minute for St. Patrick'sDay, two years and four days into "two weeks to flatten the curve."
There has been a lot of talk about gas prices and who is to blame. So, let's take a look.
The average price of regular gas in the first week of November 2020 was $2.11 per gallon.
The average price of regular gas in the first week of February 2021 was $3.44 per gallon.
That is a $1.33 increase in the first 14 months of the Biden administration.
Last week the average price of regular gas was $4.31. That is a 98 cent increase since the Ukrainian invasion.
That was a lot of numbers but it is clear that the rise in gas price is 42% Putin and 58% Biden. There is plenty of blame to go around.
