In this episode, we finish our study of chapter 10 of 1 Corinthians. The true meaning of the Lord's Supper and its importance as an ordinance to be observed within a New Covenant Temple of God is discussed in some detail. We probe Paul's reference to the Lord's Supper when giving counsel as to why it is best to refrain from eating at an idol's temple to avoid any risk that the Lord might be provoked to jealousy, which might possibly lead to a trial if one is not already ongoing. We also examine Paul's instructions regarding the issue of meat sacrificed to idols in the context of the marketplace and as a guest at a private dinner party, with comments on why Paul gave such instructions.
