Left wing media outlets make claims that Americans are okay with paying higher gas prices if it means stopping Putin. But Putin has very little to almost nothing to do with Americas higher gas prices. Gas prices have been on the rise ever since Biden took office, and Russia only contributed 3% to Americas oil consumption.
