Captured Western-supplied weaponry arms Donetsk and Lugansk militia

Captured Ukrainian and Western-supplied military hardware are being transferred to the militia of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics for use in combat operations against Ukraine, according to a video released by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Significant quantities of weapons, tanks and other armored vehicles have been abandoned by retreating Ukrainian forces. DPR and LPR soldiers will receive special training to utilize JAVELIN and NLAW anti-tank missile systems that had been supplied by the West.

The weapons and armor will remain in the two People’s Republics for their continued defense.
