F.E.A.R. Part 15
F.E.A.R. (2005) was developed my Monolith and published by Vivendi.
The first game in a trilogy, F.E.A.R. was known for it's creepy atmosphere, bombastic, and intense firefights. The firefights are still quite unequaled even in today's terms, and are arguably what makes the series so attractive. Firefights are very fast paced. The usage of reflexes, which acts as a slow motion function, steals the show and makes combat very enjoyable and a spectacle to watch! If you want to see how fast paced the firefights are, play without reflexes.
The story is slowly unraveled in a mostly non-direct fasion, through in game chatter, and keeps it vague. You play as a point man in a newly developed special operations force tasked with reconnaissance of threats involving paranormal activity. Enjoy!
I will give my rating for the game once it is completed based off of my new and simple rating system. The game will get one of five ratings based solely on my experience while playing through it: Horrible (rare rating), Bad, Average, good, and Great (rare rating).
