This provocation, a violation of a promise not to expand NATO beyond the borders of a unified Germany, has seen Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro and North Macedonia inducted into the Western military alliance.

This betrayal was compounded by a decision to station NATO troops, including thousands of U.S. troops, in Eastern Europe, another violation of an agreement made by Washington with Moscow.

Pandora’s Box of Evils

The decision to destroy the Russian economy, to turn the Ukrainian war into a quagmire for Russia and topple the regime of Vladimir Putin will open a Pandora’s box of evils. Massive social engineering —
look at Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya or Vietnam — has its own centrifugal force. It destroys those who play God.

The Ukrainian war has silenced the last vestiges of the Left. Nearly everyone has giddily signed on for the great crusade against the latest embodiment of evil, Vladimir Putin, who, like all our enemies,
has become the new Hitler.

The United States will give $13.6 billion in military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, with the Biden administration authorizing an additional $200 million in military assistance. The 5,000-strong
EU rapid deployment force, the recruitment of all Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, into NATO, the reconfiguration of former Soviet bloc militaries to NATO weapons and technology have all been fast tracked.

Germany, for the first time since World War II, is massively rearming. It has lifted its ban on exporting weapons. Its new military budget is twice the amount of the old budget, with promises to raise the budget to more than 2 percent of GDP, which would move its military from the seventh
largest in the world to the third, behind China and the United States.

Staggering Hypocrisy

The moral hypocrisy of the United States is staggering. The crimes Russia is carrying out in Ukraine are more than matched by the crimes committed by Washington in the Middle East over the last two decades, including the act of preemptive war, which under post-Nuremberg laws is a
criminal act of aggression. Only rarely is this hypocrisy exposed as when U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield told the body:

“We’ve seen videos of Russian forces moving exceptionally lethal weaponry into Ukraine, which has no place on the battlefield. That includes cluster munitions and vacuum bombs which are banned under the Geneva Convention.”

Hours later, the official transcript of her remark was amended to tack on the words “if they are directed against civilians.” This is because the U.S., which like Russia never ratified the Convention on Cluster Munitions treaty, regularly uses cluster munitions. It used them in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Iraq. It has provided them to Saudi Arabia for use in Yemen. Russia has yet to come close to the tally of civilian deaths from cluster munitions delivered by the U.S. military.

The fog of war
Twitter has removed a post from the Russian embassy in London about the Mariupol hospital bombing
which claimed that the facility was no longer operational and that images of the attack had been faked,
following criticism from Downing Street.

No 10 accused the embassy of posting disinformation on Twitter after it posted pictures of the bombing
emblazoned with the label “fake”. A series of follow-up tweets, including a claim that a victim of the bombing
was “played” by a beauty blogger, have also been removed after

the US has, for four decades, tried to prevent the Biological Weapons Convention from establishing a
checking mechanism. Of the 182 signatories to the convention, the US is the only one that pulled out

Moreover, late last month the New York Times reported on a couple of new scientific papers by our top

Ukraine on the DOD’s Biological Threat Reduction Program
(BTRP). The goal of the program was said to be “to counter the threat of outbreaks (deliberate, accidental,
or natural) of the world’s most dangerous infectious diseases.”

A few of the viruses these labs were working with as a part of the BRTP included swine flu, avian flu,
Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever virus, and hantavirus.

The same day Nuland shared her worries with the senators, The National Pulse reported that it unearthed
a since-deleted 2010 article revealing that then-Senator
Barack Obama had been involved in setting up a level-3 biosafety laboratory in Odessa, Ukraine, since
2005. The lab was tasked with “handling ‘especially dangerous
pathogens’ in Ukraine,” per the outlet.

.S. Sen. Dick Lugar applauded the opening of the Interim Central Reference Laboratory in Odessa, Ukraine, this week, announcing that it will
be instrumental in researching dangerous pathogens used by bioterrorists.

The level-3 bio-safety lab, which is the first built under the expanded authority of the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction program, will
be used to study anthrax, tularemia and Q fever as well as other dangerous pathogens.

“The continuing cooperation of Nunn-Lugar partners has improved safety for all people against weapons of mass destruction and potential
terrorist use, in addition to advancements in the prevention of pandemics and public health consequences,” Lugar said.

Lugar said plans for the facility began in 2005 when he and then Senator Barack Obama entered a partnership with Ukrainian officials.
Lugar and Obama also helped coordinate efforts between the U.S and Ukrainian researchers that year in an effort to study and help prevent avian flu.

The Nunn-Lugar Act, which established the Cooperative Threat Reduction Program, was established in 1991. Since that time it has provided
funding and assistance to help the former Soviet Union dismantle and safeguard large stockpiles of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons.
The program has also been responsible for destroying chemical weapons in Albania, Lugar said.

All the talk of joining NATO, all the talk about building nukes, the steady buildup of lethal weaponry, the movement of troops to the east, the refusal
to implement the Minsk Treaty and the rejection of Putin’s security demands. All of these were deliberate provocations. But, why? Why “bait the bear”;
that’s the question?

Because Washington wants to lure Russia into a war so it can further demonize Putin, isolate Russia, launch a counterinsurgency operation against
the Russian army, and impose harsh economic sanctions that will inflict maximum damage on the Russian economy. That’s Washington’s strategy in a
nutshell, and Zelenskyy is helping Washington achieve its objectives. He’s allowing himself to be Washington’s tool. He is sacrificing his own country

US Intervention

A leaked phone call, believed to have taken place on January 28, 2014, between then US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and
US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt revealed that Obama-admin officials were involved in a scheme to oust Ukrainian President
Yanukovych and replace his administration with Western allies. The call was discussed in several US-based media outlets though,
for the most part, they refrain from discussing its content and instead focus on Nuland’s expletive remark of “Fuck the EU”
and highlight that Russian hackers were likely the leak’s source. Then State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki corroborated the
legitimacy of the call as she “did not dispute the authenticity of the recording and said that Nuland had apologized to
European Union officials for her remarks,” according to Associated Press.

(1:22) Nuland: “I think Yats is the guy who’s got the economic experience, the governing experience.” She’s referring to Arseniy Yatsenuk and emphasizing that he should play a leading role in the new government.
Less than one month later, Yatsenyuk went on to the position of prime minister.
Yats promptly signed the long sought-after EU trade agreement that initially started this fiasco.
To illustrate the new regime’s stance on Russia, the following year Yats called on the EU to stop the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline and tightened immigration policy for Russian citizens entering Ukraine.
(2:48) Nuland: “When I talked to Jeff Feltman this morning, he had a new name for the UN guy – Robert Serry… He’s now gotten both Serry and Ban Ki-moon to agree that Serry could come in Monday or Tuesday. So that would be great to help glue this thing and to have the UN to help glue it.”
A little under a month after this phone call, Yanukovych fled the country due to dwindling support from his allies. This prompted the Verkhovna Rada, a legislative body within the Ukrainian parliament, to claim itself to be “the only legitimate authority in the country” (from a government press release on the matter). In that same press release, “Robert H. Serry informed that the United Nations Organization ‘highly appreciates Ukraine and supports current processes.’”
However, the vote to impeach Yanukovych and elect new officials was illegal under the Ukrainian Constitution. To quote Huffington Post, “It is simply untrue that the Rada followed the procedure laid down in the Ukrainian constitution to impeach and remove a president from power.” For more details check out their article.
Pyatt also mentions the need to “get somebody with an international personality to help midwife this thing” to which Nuland replies she’s been in touch with Obama’s director of policy planning who told her that “Biden’s willing”. So, ironically, Biden himself likely played a key role in getting this vote through.

It’s fairly clear that the subject of Nuland and Pyatt’s conversation was how to shape the outcome of this unconstitutional vote, which, by the way,
falls under the definition of a coup.

Putin watched in the early 2000s as seven former Soviet Union countries joined NATO. Despite promises by the Clinton administration that NATO
would not keep military forces in Eastern Europe permanently, over 20 years later NATO “has about 4,000 troops in multinational battalions,
backed by tanks, air defenses and intelligence and surveillance units” across Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, according to Reuters.
Putin tolerated such expansions for decades, and while it was not without complaints and retaliatory acts of his own,
he clearly is not a madman intent on re-establishing the Soviet Union.

by the US Department of Defense (DOD). These documents include important construction, financing and permit details for bioweapon
laboratories in Ukraine. But now the US government is scrubbing these documents from the internet and becoming less transparent with this critical information.

This comes at a time when the world population is waking up to the reality of gain-of-function bioweapons research, lab leaks and
predatory vaccine and diagnostics development. These bio-labs generate pathogens of pandemic potential that exploit human immune

President Volodymyr Zelensky has, in fact, widened the scope of the war by providing visa-free access to foreign fighters in the battle
against the Russian forces, apart from releasing hardcore criminals from prisons and drafting them to battle.

For the past eight years, Ukraine has been violating the Minsk Accords and shelling its own people in Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
Nearly 14,000 people have been killed, and many more wounded over the years.
These pro-Russian regions had, in 2014, openly declared their desire to unite with Russia, just like the way Crimea was reunified with Russia.

The western media continues to repeat that Russia ‘annexed’ Crimea, while conveniently ignoring the fact that 96.77 percent of Crimeans with a
turnout of 83.1 percent voted for the reunion of Crimea with Russia, in a referendum taken in March 2014. This is a true example of vox populi,

The United States feels that the world must bow to its diktats, and its wars of aggression against Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and dozens of
countries around the world are branded as acts of ‘protecting’ and ‘safeguarding’ democracy.

I cannot join in it. I know too much. I know that our policy of Nato expansion – which we had promised not to do and which we knew infuriated Russians –

I know that Ukraine's army has used severe force against Russian civilians in the Don Basin since 2014. The Russians have done dreadful things there,
too, but there are plenty of people who will tell you that. The point is that this is not a contest of saints versus sinners, or of Mordor versus the Shire.

I also find it awkward that, when Britain and the USA rightly denounced Putin's illegal invasion of a sovereign country, they seemed to have forgotten
that we gave him the idea, by doing this in Iraq in 2003. Unlike them I can truly claim to have opposed both these actions.

I tire of being told that Nato is purely defensive alliance when we know it bombed Serbia in 1999, incidentally killing civilians, when Serbia had not attacked a Nato member.

PBS NewsHour noted Putin’s comments on denazification with a qualifier: “even though President Volodymyr Zelensky is Jewish and his great uncles died in the Holocaust.”
On Fox & Friends, former CIA officer Dan Hoffman declared that “it’s the height of hypocrisy to call the Ukrainian nation to denazify — their president is Jewish after all.”
On MSNBC, Virginia Democratic Sen. Mark Warner said Putin’s “terminology, outrageous and obnoxious as it is — ‘denazify’ where you’ve got frankly a
Jewish president in Mr. Zelensky. This guy [Putin] is on his own kind of personal jihad to restore greater Russia.”
Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn said on Fox Business she’s “been impressed with President Zelensky and how he has stood up. And for Putin to go out
there and say ‘we’re going to denazify’ and Zelensky is Jewish.”
In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Gen. John Allen denounced Putin’s use of the term, “de-Nazify” while the newsman and former Israel lobbyist shook
his head in disgust. In a separate interview with Blitzer, the so-called “Ukraine whistleblower” and Ukraine-born Alexander Vindman grumbled that the claim is
“patently absurd, there’s really no merit… you pointed out that Volodymyr Zelensky is Jewish… the Jewish community [is] embraced. It’s central to the country
and there is nothing to this Nazi narrative, this fascist narrative. It’s fabricated as a pretext.”

Behind the corporate media spin lies the complex and increasingly close relationship Zelensky’s administration has enjoyed with the neo-Nazi forces
invested with key military and political posts by the Ukrainian state, and the power these open fascists have enjoyed since Washington installed a
Western-aligned regime through a coup in 2014.

In fact, Zelensky’s top financial backer, the Ukrainian Jewish oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, has been a key benefactor of the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion and other extremists militias.
