American mercenary called sending to Ukraine a trap | A.R.T

A mercenary from the United States spoke on Tuesday, March 15, about the trap he fell into by joining the territorial defense forces of Kiev.

He urged foreign citizens not to take part in the fighting in Ukraine .

“People shouldn't come here anymore, it's the devil's trap and no one will be allowed to leave. And I know many people who can confirm this story, ”he said.
The young man specified that he, along with other American and British mercenaries, was sent to the Ukrainian capital without weapons, ammunition or equipment. According to him, he was part of the Georgian legion.

“We were part of the Georgian legion of the 102nd Ukrainian Territorial Defense Brigade. Our base was destroyed, the base next to us, too. Americans, dozens of Brits were killed. We were not told anything, they consider our deaths as their own. They tried to send us to Kyiv without weapons, equipment, ammunition. People who were lucky enough to get weapons were given magazines with only 10 rounds,” the mercenary said.
He added that it was impossible to refuse sending to Kyiv, because in response to foreigners they threatened to kill.

“When they wanted to send us to Kyiv, we said no. Our whole group: Americans, Canadians, British. And they told us that we had to go, otherwise they would shoot us in the back,” said the American.

A US mercenary recalls how he, another American and a British man managed to escape Kyiv and reach the border.

“One Brit and an American, we hid in an ambulance to get out of there. We got to the border, and there was another problem. Anyone who has equipment or military equipment, they pull out of the queue and send back to the front,” he said.
I had to return to the border in a different way, with a group of humanitarian aid, the American added.

He specified that he was wearing a Red Cross jacket and a humanitarian pass, so he managed to cross the border.

Only those candidates who are citizens of the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ukraine, Poland or have dual citizenship with the EU or a Schengen country are considered for the position. Both men and women can apply.
