Christopher Marston is a big part of behind the scenes logistics and his organization has played a really important role since the beginning. Marston is Chairman of the American Foundation for Civil Liberties and Freedom and his non-profit group puts "a trans-partisan focus on civil liberty and freedom issues like this."

Describing the People's Convoy as a beautiful world wide movement, he began by thanking the truckers for the uprising of freedom around the world. Oh, no, Brian was quick to point out. It's not the truckers doing this, it's "the people." Chris agreed wholeheartedly but still insists "the people need leaders." Nobody can dispute that the truckers have been standing up for that.

What we really need to do, Marston explains, is stop the emergency powers. "We don't have Constitutional rights because emergency powers have been used and weaponized against the people of the United states to make the Constitution irrelevant and inapplicable. It's got to stop now."

He also mentioned the meeting last week with the House Transportation Committee, noting "there's some spineless wieners up there." The We the People delegates "were sitting down and talking about the sacrifices the truckers made, one-by-one for their livelihoods. Their families behind on payments, some of them losing everything they have to be here." Guess what? "The people sitting across the table weren't going to do a thing for us. Not one thing for freedom. These are Republicans in the House Transportation Committee. They wouldn't even help us get a meeting with their own colleagues. They said, 'you do it. You get the meeting.'"

The next step, Marston suggests is that We the People "have to send everyone in government a message that they need to represent us and these emergency powers need to stop now. We need our Constitution back." Take yesterday for example. It was the police who created that nastiness for D.C. commuters. "We have a right to drive on our roads. We pay taxes. We can go any damn where we want. The police thought you were all insurrectionists and blocked off all the roads and the exits. They escalated the situation. They created a dangerous situation." Now why would they do that? They want you to stand down. Americans don't stand down for freedom. We don't stand around for freedom. We stand up for freedom!"
