What’s up with The Hebrew language?

The Hebrew language died out fairly quickly after 70 a.d. and the Jewish dispersion.
Many had totally forgotten that there even was a Hebrew language until a man named Eliezar Ben-Yahuda diligently rediscovered every letter of it and it later published it in 1905.
In 1948 it was adopted as Israel’s National language.
