Suspect in Wheelchair Gets Up and Runs From Courthouse

A sheriff’s deputy escorting a wheelchair-bound suspect into court wasn’t expecting the suspect to get up and run away. The Pulaski County Sheriff in Arkansas says Joel Sanchez Delgado was being brought to court to face multiple charges including residential burglary and theft of services. He reportedly claimed during his arrest that he was injured, but steps away from the entrance to the courthouse, he made a dash for freedom. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
