RIYADH: Fahda Fahd, like other Saudi women, was not allowed to drive until 2018, but her lime-green Kia is now a source of extra income as the conservative kingdom's living costs climb.
When she isn't working full-time in a healthcare contact center, the 54-year-old picks up fares in Riyadh's capital through a female-only ride-hailing app.
