Preachers for Profit - Warnings from Jude

As Jude warned, most preachers today have surrendered to covetousness and sold out the truth in exchange for filthy lucre - for a paycheck and a parsonage. That includes not only millionaire televangelists - but also the leadership in every 501c3 church in the land - which includes about 98% of the churches in America today.

In this part 1 of a 2-part message, after a brief exposition of Jude 1-13 (including Jude's statement about the "angels who sinned" and left their "first estate") we look at the examples of Korah (preacher for power or position), and Balaam (preacher for profit) that Jude refers us to. In Part 2 we examine the Way of Cain, who rejected the gospel of Christ -- the basis from whom which all false religions in the world had their beginning.
