The stock market went crazy today as almost every asset class sold off leaving no room for any safe havens to emerge. By the end of close, the Nasdaq 100 was down 20% from its highs & the S&P 500 entered into a death cross. I go over the death cross and what the technical indicator means, but coming into Powell this week, it is pointing to a short term bottom or a much larger swing down. At the same time today, we also had a lot of developments out of China. China stocks slid over 75% from their highs and investors sold stocks like AAPL on news that China is entering into another lockdown, leaving Apple's largest supplier FoxConn not able to produce. They also shut down the 4th largest port and with all the conflict going on, this was one of the worst things that could happen to supply chains in inflation. With the S&P 500 back at the lows from the invasion 2 weeks ago, where we go from here will be crucial. I go over my expectations, then I go over the stocks I traded today and what stocks I am looking to buy this week. AMD, HD & bank stocks will be in focus, but the volatility is proving that option trades will come with a price so be careful. EITHER WAY ITS GOING TO BE EXCITING SO I HOPE YOU ARE READY!
