Coach Guy, a former NYC detective shares his perspective on a few crime stories tied to the sport and his experience as fighter and trainer.

Guy Laieta an American boxing trainer that co-trains boxers with Luis Perez and Dino Spencer at The World Famous 5th Street. Gym in Miami Beach. Laieta, a former N.Y.P.D. detective coached the police boxing team in 1992 when they defeated the Brits in London. He was a N.Y. southpaw prodigy preparing to box professionally, when a non correctable spinal disorder prematurely ended his career. Laieta is former the head coach of the University of Miami boxing team
