We’ve known for a long time that there is water in space. But we never knew, how much. There has been discovered the largest and farthest reservoir of water ever detected in the universe. This place is millions of light-years away and it's a floating space cloud made entirely of water.
There’s so much water in it that it could fill all our oceans 140 trillion times over. Slightly more than what we need. How did this water end up there and does it go anywhere? Scientists generally interpret the presence of water as one of the prerequisites of any kind of life similar to what we have on Earth. So could this floating water cloud mean there could be life in space?
