Convoy of lorries packed with donations for Ukraine refugees receive round of applause

This is the moment a convoy of lorries got a round of applause as they drove off to deliver donations to Ukrainian refugees.

Attwell Farm Park in Redditch, Worcestershire, has now sent nearly 30 lorries stuffed full of donations from local people and businesses.

Oliver Arundel, who works at the park, said they have been inundated with clothing, toiletries, medical supplies and sleeping bags.

He said: "We've been packing and stacking up to 40 pallets a day - people have been very generous.

"We've had people bringing whole carloads of donations at a time.

"We've also had loads of fantastic volunteers and staff running it.

"Words can't describe what's happening to those poor people over there, it's awful.

"We're just doing all we can to help."
