03.13.22 When did passionate conversation become "Fiery" or "Aggressive"

I have seen a few videos recently wherein terms like "fiery", "aggressive", "irate", or similar phrasing have been used in situations where the people involved seem to be fairly laid back or simply a bit passionate. Is society so soft that any raising of the voice or strong disagreement is now considered such? I fear the answer is: Yes
